The Ports Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has collected a total of #424,584,608,992.26 as at Friday 12 December 2025.

Speaking during the 2025 end of the year party organised by the Customs Officers Wives Association (COWA), PTML Chapter, Comptroller Joe Anani, the Customs Area Controller of the Command, said that the revenue collection showed greater exploits for more revenue benefits in the full implementation of the Unified Customs Management System (UCMS) also known as B’Odogwu.

He noted that the command has already surpassed its 2024 revenue collection of #362.5 billion with over #62 billion even as the year has not ended. He described 2025 as an eventful that featured various accomplishments for the command under the leadership of the CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR PhD. He disclosed his readiness to achieving One Hour Clearance Time for compliant Roll On Roll Off (RoRo) cargoes in 2026.

On Anti-Smuggling, he said that the command recorded great success in preventing illicit and expired drugs, arms and ammunition including other prohibited items capable of endangering the lives of Nigerians access into the country.

Comptroller Anani praise the seizure of 1000kg of cocaine worth #29.4 billion which was handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA as a great Anti-Smuggling feat.

He attributed the command’s success to the massive support enjoyed from all government agencies and private sector stakeholders.

However, he thanked the Nigeria Police, Department of State Service, Standard Organization of Nigeria, National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control including other sister agencies for their unwavering support.

COWA PTML Chapter Chairperson, Mrs Caroline Ifeoluwa Anani said that the party is a continuation of PTML Command’s tradition of togetherness.

In furtherance, she said that the year 2025 has been very eventful with COWA playing very critical roles in the command’s productivity. “A productive workforce can be made or marred from the home front”, he added.

Mrs Caroline Ifeoluwa Anani recalled that this year, the command’s COWA chapter carried out mental healthcare awareness programme, Blood pressure and Suggestion test, eye screening/ treatment and the donation of medicated eye glasses.

According to her, COWA chapter also had seminars on home management, food/nutrition and family care products and provision of souvenirs to each COWA husband in the command.

Highlight of the event was the donation of food items by the Chairperson, Mrs Caroline Ifeoluwa Anani to women and children in the spirit of Christmas.
